What are the key decisions made in this role?

-       Determining the optimal process to maximize our resources and delivering results

-       Work cross functionally to develop a prioritized “project” list that supports the largest company requirements

Determine the deliverable process to communicate results

 

What are the key challenges faced by this role in meeting goals/objectives?

-       Remaining focused on the core agenda within ever changing global business priorities

-       Retaining authenticity and neutrality when providing feedback which might challenge brand team desired outcome

-       Ensuring that best practice is attained in everything that they do given time/budget constraints & lack of understanding of importance of this from key stakeholders

-       Strong Collaboration between multiple departments with differing objectives and timelines

-       Maximizing global resources and limited local budgets while delivering high quality results

Providing Coaching to the organization to maximize execution of program/plans

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications/ Memberships:

-       4-5 years solid experience in leading global research agencies or Insights function in CPG

        Prefer to have strong quantitative research background, sensitive to data and can draw key insights from data analytics 

Experience, Competencies & Skills:

-     Results orientation, with a sense of urgency and curiosity

-     Applied marketing research experience across the marketing mix, and wide awareness of new methodologies and approaches

-     Strong understanding of marketing strategy, planning issues, budgeting, and priority setting

-     Capability to build positive working relationship with colleagues and key stakeholders

-     Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and the confidence to try new solutions

-     Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to generate and activate actionable insights into business recommendations

-     High level proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point and experience with statistical software preferred

Bachelor’s Degree required, Graduate degree is strongly preferred
