Manage data-driven, strategic recommendations and insights across Treasury Wine Estate’s (TWE) Americas-sourced portfolio (consisting of 40+ brands, 300+ SKUs and 5+ winery sites) 16K acres of owned, managed and leased vineyards to maximize vineyard profitability and long-term strategy




Wine Production Profit Optimization


  • Oversee the Grape Resources comprehensive long-term vineyard optimization/capital plan and provide financial, quality, and quantity insights to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead and initiate domestic and global special projects across the wine production organization to drive profit optimization and efficiency
  • Develop and coordinate North American supply availability outlook including bearing & non-bearing acreage as well as land potentially suitable for grape growing
  • Support supply-side M&A efforts with qualitative and quantitative analysis regarding opportunity sizing, target due diligence (financial and operational) and support internal buy-in and approval process
  • Develop annual and 5-year grape purchases and sales budget (internal and external) aligned to strategic plan requirements
  • Develop and maintain a 5-year Fair Market Value forecast for grape pricing
  • Provide on-going analysis and project management as requested on a per-project basis


Business Processes & System Improvement


  • Challenge the current systems, processes, and tools used in vineyard management in order to implement change initiatives to meet business goals
  • End to end management of Ag Code vineyard management system in order to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the organization. Includes, but is not limited to, payroll administration, data management, annual vineyard budget support, report and dashboard development, user training, process improvement, and analysis and business recommendations.
  • Manage vineyard water use reporting, inclusive of both governmental and internal requirements, providing analysis and recommendations for cost-saving and environmental impact initiatives.
  • Redefine processes and tools to enable streamlined input to on-going product strategy reviews with multiple business stakeholders across luxury, masstige and commercial product tiers to identify and drive margin improvement opportunities
  • Develop effective, positive and influential relationships with internal customers to unlock untapped opportunities within business




  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Viticulture & Enology, or related analytical discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in wine, agricultural, food and beverage or related industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Modelling and database building skills are essential
  • Proficient in inventory management and planning tools; prior knowledge of JDE is preferred
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively with others, including internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate large amounts of data from multiple sources, draw conclusions and recommendations, and present results in executive-ready format
  • Strong organizational skills
