The Subscription Marketing Consultant will be responsible for helping develop a forward-looking wine subscription model that allows flexibility and options to future members. The Consultant will also have proficiency in consumer Loyalty programs that could apply to general wine sales as well as Wine Subscription members. The successful incumbent will provide vision and expertise in Subscription and Loyalty program models as well as detailed operational requirements to ensure that business and project objectives are met.

Successful delivery involves demonstrated experience in transformational business processes necessary to execute the vision. Our Subscription & Loyalty program transformation is part of a larger DTC Commerce Transformation Project.


  • Drive, lead and develop vision for transformational wine subscription models and enhanced loyalty programs
  • Drive the documentation of detailed business operational requirements, including process flows to execute the wine subscription and loyalty models
  • Drive design solutions that will deliver the business objectives in an innovative, efficient, cost effective and sustainable manner
  • Drive, lead and develop a clear understanding of what to keep/continue (current state)
  • Provide Expertise in Leading Effective Transformation from Traditional Club Model to Future State
  • Clear understanding of consumer behaviour as it applies to Subscription and Loyalty Models
  • Ability to clearly articulate the vision/objectives and translate those to business operational requirements
  • Ability to be “hands on” in the configuration/set up of clubs as we launch the project


  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in a Subscription, Lifecyle, or Loyalty Marketing with a leading direct to consumer business, wine experience not required
  • Demonstrated examples of consumer Subscription and Loyalty Marketing expertise
  • Omnichannel retail experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated examples of implementing system improvement recommendations & transformations
  • Demonstrated examples of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that works well with co-workers, vendors and consumers
  • Ability to translate technical ideas into non-technical language
  • Strong intellectual capacity, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Excellent task management and organizational skills
  • Hands on experience or close familiarity with one or more of the following technology solutions is strongly preferred:
    • Microsoft D365 CRM
    • eCommerce platforms
    • Warehouse management systems (general)
    • Order management systems- D365 preferred
    • Middleware platforms (e.g. Boomi, Informatica, WebMethods etc.) and APIs
