Position Summary:

TWE seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the production and material planning team. This role will drive continuous improvement and execute process flows to deliver the expected level of customer service and minimize costs throughout the supply chain. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to convert sales demand into a packaging production plan while maximizing production capacity utilization and creating efficient workflows to utilize resources effectively. This role is also accountable for the effective management of inventory levels of items produced (finished goods) and packaging materials (dry goods).  

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

  • Drive and maintain compliance with all company HSE Policies and safe work practices and take accountability to ensure workplace hazards are reported and resolved.
  • Drive the TWE Growth Behaviors.
  • Full ownership of the Production and Material Planning processes with collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes and eliminate waste.
  • Responsible for ensuring finished and dry goods inventory accuracy in alignment with Global Inventory Policies, as well as management of inventory at risk via IBP.
  • Accountable for the creation, tracking and corrective actions related to all Production and Material Planning performance metrics.
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships for improved supply chain efficiencies.
  • Drive structured process, quality and system-related improvement internally and externally (e.g. dry good suppliers).
  • Accountable for the integrity of the data and parameters used to generate the MPS and MRP in the ERP system.
  • Effective use of leadership and influencing skills to drive and meet timelines/targets.
  • Ensure goods and services are sourced using all relevant protocols and procedures that ensure a transparent and complaint process to all TWE policies.
  • Drive creation, implementation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all relevant planning processes.  
  • Assist in developing and implementing policy for maintaining the integrity of master data in JDE. 
  • Accountable for the accurate setup of BOMs in the ERP.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or proven successful history in similar position.
  • Other professional Supply Chain certifications/affiliations desired (i.e. APICS, CSCMP, and ISM etc.).
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in similar field (procurement, logistics, MRP, production, inventory management, production planning/scheduling, demand planning).
  • Excellent planning, organization and project management skills with ability to multi-task/prioritize on regular basis. 
  • High Analytical, interpersonal, oral, written and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated execution of Continuous Improvement principles. 
  • Demonstrated competency in ERP software applications (JDE a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience with supply chain planning or scheduling software applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Extended hours may be required.
