The Microbiologist is a subject matter expert and support role to winemaking, production and quality for microbial spoilage evaluation, micro verification, FSQM/HACCP support specifically related to food safety and sanitation best practice.

Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS in laboratory science, preferably microbiology, or a minimum of a 2yr. science degree with four years microbiology/sanitation experience. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of microbiological techniques and procedures.
  • Membership in American Society of Microbiology, International Association of Food Protection or comparable.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Access.
  • Computer proficiency in Optika and MARC programs
