The Microbiologist is a subject
matter expert and support role to winemaking, production and quality for
microbial spoilage evaluation, micro verification, FSQM/HACCP support specifically
related to food safety and sanitation best practice.
Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum requirements:
- BA/BS in laboratory science, preferably
microbiology, or a minimum of a 2yr. science degree with four years microbiology/sanitation
- Comprehensive knowledge of microbiological
techniques and procedures.
- Membership in American Society of
Microbiology, International Association of Food Protection or comparable.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft
- Computer proficiency in Optika and MARC
